Police have caught a suspect in Friday's Fulton Bank robbery who confessed to the robbery, according to a release from West Manchester Township Police Department.

Edward Noecker, 32, from Berks County, was apprehended by Muhlenberg Township Police in Berks County on Monday on a probation violation. Police said he confessed to Friday's robbery at the Fulton Bank, 1500 Kenneth Road in West Manchester Township, and told police he acted alone.

Police say Noecker approached the teller and gave her a note demanding cash. The teller complied. Noecker exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. He did not display a weapon, and there were no injuries, police said.

Noecker then ran west on Loucks Road, toward the Athletic Club, according to police.

After police put out photos captured from the surveillance system, the robber was identified as Noecker, police said.

Noecker is currently being held at Berks County Prison for a probation violation, and robbery charges are pending against him in York County.
