One person was shot on the 700 block of West King Street Sunday afternoon. York County 911 confirmed a call came in at around 4:25 p.m.

York City Police were at the scene investigating until around 6 p.m.  A bullet had entered the upstairs window of one of the homes on the block.

EMS did not transport anyone from the scene, according to York County 911. One person suffered a non-life-threatening injury, York City Police Chief Wes Kahley said in a text message. He said patrol officers responding to the call used a vehicle description and were able to make an arrest and recover a firearm. No other information was available at the time.

Bullet casings were seen on the ground near a gray sedan. The passenger-side mirror of the sedan was damaged by the shooting. Neighbors at the scene declined to comment on what had happened.
