Monday events canceled in York County

  • Embracing Aging, an initiative of the York County Community Foundation, has canceled its previously scheduled Monday talk with  Dr. Bill Thomas, expert on aging, according to a release. The event was to be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Waldner Performing Arts Center at York College. It will be rescheduled for a later date, the release states. 
  • York City trash and recyclables will not be collected on Monday or Tuesday due to excessive snow accumulation, according to a release.
