Comcast opens hotspots for all during storm
Comcast is opening all its Xfinity WiFi hotspots in the Keystone Region during Winter Storm Jonas, according to a release.
The hotspots will be available to all, including non-customers, until Monday, and are available at local businesses, with 105 outdoor spots installed in York County, with 35 in York City, the release states.
To locate a hotspot, residents may look at the map on www.xfinity.com/wifi and enter their zip code. Those looking to connect to the hotspots should select "xfinitywifi" and launch the browser.
Xfinity customers can sign in with their username and password, which will automatically connect them to any Xfinity WiFi hotspots in the future. Non-customers should select "Not an Xfinity Internet Customer" section on the sign-in page to connect. Non-customers will be able to renew complimentary sessions every two hours through Monday.
