A Lititz woman was found with marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and unsealed alcohol after failing to move into another lane when passing an emergency response area, according to state police.

Kristen Anne Dohner, 44, is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, registration and certificate of title required and duty of driver in emergency response area, police said.

Police say around 3 p.m. on Jan. 5, on Interstate 83 North at Exit 18 in Springettsbury Township, Dohner failed to move to the other lane while passing an emergency response area. She was pulled over and found with marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an unsealed glass bottle of Crown Royal Whiskey in her vehicle, police said.

The "Steer Clear" law requires drivers to move to the other lane, or if not possible, slow down, when passing an emergency response area, such as a police stop, disabled vehicle or emergency scene.
