Davis school was on lockdown Friday afternoon after a report of a safety issue, according to a message the school sent out to the parents.

At around 12:45 p.m. school administrators put the school in a "shelter-in-place" status while school police investigated a report of a potential safety issue. Nothing was found and it was concluded no threat or safety hazard existed. The "shelter-in-place" status was lifted and school resumed normally, according to the school.
