A Waynesboro man is charged with robbing a Carroll Township bank more than a year ago.

Scott Vincent O'Neill, 45, is charged with a felony count each of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property, according to online court records.

Carroll Township Police said in a news release that O'Neill robbed the Fulton Bank at 866 Route 15 on Nov. 12, 2014.

He walked in and handed the teller a note demanding money, police allege. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money, at which polint O'Neill fled the bank, according to police.

The criminal complaint filed Tuesday with District Judge Richard T. Thomas wasn't available Friday, as O'Neill hadn't yet received the charges, according to office staff. O'Neill is currently behind bars in Carroll County on unrelated charges, according to the news release.
