Police are asking for the public's help to identify two people who robbed a Stewartstown convenience store with a baseball bat on Wednesday night.

Police said two people robbed the Stewartstown Rutter's with a baseball bat on Dec. 16, 2015.

The robbers walked into the Rutter's Farm Store on North Main Street at 11 p.m. and threatened the store clerk while demanding cash and cigarettes, according to Southern Regional Police.

One of the robbers wielded a baseball bat, police said.

After getting an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes, they ran toward Charles Street and got into a parked four-door sedan with a broken rear window, according to police.

Anyone with information about the robbers' identities or the robbery itself is asked to call Southern Regional Police at (717) 235-3944 or call York County Crime Stoppers at (877) 409-4321.
