U.S. Rep. Perry town hall meeting postponed

Update: U.S. Rep. Scott Perry has postponed the meeting due to a change in Congress' voting schedule, said Bob Reilly, Perry's deputy chief of staff.

The meeting will be rescheduled early in 2016.

Previously reported: U.S. Rep. Scott Perry will host a town hall-style meeting next week in Chanceford Township.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Mount Zion Baptist Church annex, 48 Muddy Creek Forks Road, according to a news release from Perry's office.

Perry is expected to provide updates on topics Congress is working on, including the federal budget, the economy and national security, the release states.

Attendees are encouraged to ask questions. The meeting is free to attend and pre-registration is not needed.
