A Wrightsville woman working for Turkey Hill allegedly voided 56 transactions and pocketed the money over a one-month period, according to police.

Josey Francine Baum, 35, is charged with 14 counts of theft, police said.

Police were called to the Turkey Hill in Wrightsville Wednesday for reports of a theft, according to police.

Police say a loss-prevention specialist reported Baum voided 56 transactions with customers between Nov. 3 and Dec. 2 and pocketed the money, including her own transaction where she bought herself a soda and voided the transaction without paying.

All was captured on video surveillance, police said.

The total amount of the transactions was $146.91, according to police.

Baum was released on her on recognizance, police said.
