Next week artist William Chambers will bring the "Service Station" project to York.

The project's website explains the Service Station's purpose. The station's attendant asks: "What is missing in your life or the world?"

"Participants are invited to talk about their experiences and consider embroidering their answers on the rest room towel," according to the site.

Chambers also created "Spaceship York" earlier this year, asking locals to write down their dreams to be launched into space.

He will be attending his "Service Station" Monday, Dec. 7 through Wednesday, Dec. 9. in the atrium at Martin Library, 159 E. Market St., York.
