Driver thrown in West Manchester crash, passenger trapped

Two people suffered serious injuries Monday evening when the vehicle they were in crashed and rolled on Route 30 in West Manchester Township, police said.

It happened at 6:17 p.m. along Route 30 westbound, prior to the ramps with West Market Street, according to West Manchester Township Police.

A vehicle rolled over, trapping a female inside, police said.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle during the crash, according to police, who said people led responding officers to the driver.

Both victims were taken to York Hospital with serious injuries, police said. Their names have not been released.

There were lane restrictions at that portion of Route 30 westbound until 10:15 p.m., police said.
