Police: Boorish behavior at Red Lion pizza shop ends in arrest

A Felton-area woman is facing criminal charges in the wake of allegedly eating under the influence at a Red Lion pizzeria last week, police said.

At the time, Lisa Fitch, 46, no street address provided, was "highly intoxicated and in possession of prescription medication that was not prescribed to her," according to a state police news release.

State police said Fitch went to Musso's Pizza, 406 E. Broadway, about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 24 and got into a stranger's car.

She then went inside the pizza shop and tried to walk into the kitchen area, troopers said.

When she was turned away from the kitchen, Fitch sat down at a table with people she didn't know and started eating their food, police allege.

State police were called to remove her from the restaurant. Troopers said they determined she had an active warrant at the time; information about the warrant was not immediately available.

No criminal charges had been filed as of Monday, but state police said they are pending.

Police allege Fitch violated state drug laws by illegally possessing prescription pills. It's unclear what offenses she will be charged with.
