A York City man was allegedly found with heroin and a stolen gun early Sunday morning, according to charging documents.

Jaquell Anthony Thomas-Moore is charged with receiving stolen property and drug charges, police said.

Police were responding to shots fired at Pandora's bar, 466 E. Market St., when they received word that a gunshot victim, later identified as Thomas-Moore, was taken to York Hospital in a black Ford Fusion, according to charging documents.

Police viewed video footage from behind Pandora's and saw a dark sedan leaving the parking lot driving fast, according to police. Bullet fragments were then recovered from the rear parking lot, police said.

Officers were able to track the vehicle to the parking lot of York Hospital along with the driver, Aric Laboy, according to police.

Police said the owner allowed them to search his vehicle, where they found a gun in the glove compartment.

Laboy told police he did not know the gun was in the car and said it did not belong to him, according to police.

Thomas-Moore said he and Laboy had gone to Pandora's and left around 1:50 a.m., police said.

He told police that, as they were leaving, he heard shots and felt a pain in his leg, and Laboy drove him to the hospital, documents stated.

Police said Thomas-Moore said the gun in the car was not his and he did not place it there.

After obtaining a warrant, police searched the vehicle and ran the gun through a database and found it was stolen, police said.

While processing Thomas-Moore, police found seven baggies of heroin in his pants, police said.

Thomas-Moore was sent to York County Prison after being unable to post $10,000 bail.
