Prosecutors charge 4th boy in Pa. school sexting case

BERWYN, Pa. — A fourth suburban Philadelphia student is charged with distributing sexually explicit images of classmates.

Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan on Thursday said three of the four boys shared sexually explicit photos of a girl that she had sent to a boyfriend. She was 13 at the time.

Hogan says the former boyfriend shared the images once the girl started dating someone else. He says the boys harassed her on social media and in school in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District.

Three of the boys and the girl now attend high school. The fourth is still in middle school and was charged after he offered to sell an explicit photo of another student.

The boys are charged with harassment, transmitting obscene material and illegal use of a communication facility.
