Police: Springetts man held domestic partner against her will for 'several days'

Springettsbury Township Police arrested a township resident Wednesday afternoon for allegedly assaulting his domestic partner and holding her against her will for several days in their home, police said.

Graham Flinchbaugh, 24, of 484 Marion Road, is now in York County Prison on $50,000 bail, charged with unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, simple assault, making terroristic threats and harassment.

Flinchbaugh and the alleged victim live together, according to township police Lt. Todd King.

She was taken to the police station to be interviewed, according to King, who said she is physically OK.

Her name was not released.

Officers were called to Flinchbaugh's home about 1:05 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an unknown problem, according to a police news release.

Flinchbaugh opened the door right away after officers knocked, King said.

The lieutenant said he's unsure who called 911 — whether it was the alleged victim, a neighbor or a passer-by.
