Follow the Dream Scholarship Pageant to host annual dance

The Follow The Dream Scholarship Pageant will host its annual Harvest Benefit Dance, 1-6 p.m. Saturday at the Red Lion Recreation Center, 190 S. Charles St.
The doors open at 12:30 p.m., with a dance lesson from 1 to 2 p.m. by Bill and Lynette Baker, from Sir Dance-A-Lot Studios. DJ Val will provide music 2-6 p.m. There will be raffles, a 50/50 drawing, a silent auction, information about the pageant and refreshments.
Admission is $15 in advance or $18 at the door.
The program provides an opportunity for young women to compete for a $2,000 college scholarship. The dance is its primary fundraiser and community awareness event.
