Mastriano wins Republican nomination for governor in Pennsylvania primary election

Winning lottery ticket sold at East Prospect-area store

Someone is a few hundred thousand dollars richer after he or she purchased a winning lottery ticket from an eastern York County store.

The winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 ticket, worth $450,000, was sold at Becky's Kitchen, 5188 East Prospect Road, in Lower Windsor Township, according to the lottery.

The winning ticket matched all five balls - 04-05-06-19-39 - during the lottery drawing on Wednesday night.

After a 25 percent federal withholding tax is deducted, the ticket is worth $337,500

The winner has not yet been identified, and it usually takes a few days for winners to claim their prize, according to lottery officials.

Becky's Kitchen will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket, the release says.

Cash 5 winners have one year from the date of the drawing to have the ticket validated and to claim prizes.

The lottery advises all jackpot winners to immediately sign the back of the ticket, call the lottery at (717) 702-8146 and file a claim at any of the lottery's seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Dauphin County, the release says.

Claims can be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at headquarters, the release says.
