Marshals arrest man accused of sexually assaulting a minor in York City
U.S. Marshals tracked down a man accused of sexually assaulting a minor in York City earlier this year, according to a news release from the Marshals.
Eric Darren Simon, 29, of New York City, faces felony charges of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with an unconscious person and corruption of minors, as well as a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure, stemming from a May 1 incident, according to online court records.
York City Police in August investigated the incident, in which they say Simon performed an unwanted sex act on the juvenile, the release states. Authorities filed charges against Simon on Oct. 8, according to the release.
The Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Simon on Monday in Brooklyn, New York.
