At about 7:55 on Thursday night, a pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing Route 30 just west of the Mount Zion Road exit in Springettsbury Township, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

A 69-year-old man was struck by a black Honda Accord Crosstour driven by a 20-year-old woman, according to Springettsbury Township Police. The man was in the left westbound lane of Route 30 when he was struck, police said.

Police are not releasing the names of the people involved in the crash and will continue to investigate.

The victim's name will be released when next of kin are notified, according to the coroner's office.
