Police said a young man who grew up in Wrightsville fell to his death from a rooftop in Chester County early Halloween morning.

Cody H. DiAngelo, 23, fell from the rooftop of an apartment in West Chester at about 2:30 a.m., according to West Chester Police.

Police said they investigated the fall, and there was nothing to indicate it was not accidental.

The Chester County Coroner's Office said DiAngelo died of multiple traumatic injuries, and ruled the death an accident.

DiAngelo graduated from Eastern High School, were he played soccer, in 2010, according to his obituary. He then attended West Chester University, graduating in 2015, before he got a job as a designer at Smithworks Design Communications in West Chester, his obituary says.

A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 409 Cherry St. in Columbia, Lancaster County. That will be immediately followed by his funeral service.
