York County churches to host All Saints Day services
Christ Lutheran Church, 80 S. Main St., Loganville, will host a All Saints Day service, 9:30 a.m., and a congregational meeting with a luncheon afterwards (no Sunday school), 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The choir of St. John Episcopal Church, 140 N. Beaver St., will present Evensong at 5 p.m. Sunday in honor of All Saints' Sunday. The service will feature a liturgy which is almost entirely sung. St. Paul United Church of Christ, 161 S. Main Street, Shrewsbury, will celebrate All Saint's Day, 10:15 a.m. Sunday. A roll call will be held for those who have died in the past year. For more information, call Pastor Martha Boyer at 858-2991. Locust Grove United Church of Christ, 1035 Locust Grove Road, will observe All Saints' Day, 9:15 a.m. Sunday. The service will include Holy Communion.
