None of the 16 students onboard a Spring Grove Area School District bus Wednesday afternoon were injured when a car crashed into the front of it, according to Southwestern Regional Police.

The bus had stopped at Lehman Road near Lake Club Lane in North Codorus Township around 3 p.m. to drop off kids going home from school when a car coming in the opposite direction skidded into the front of the bus, according to a news release from police.

The bus sustained little damage from the head-on crash, and transported students back to school to be evaluated by medical staff, police said. No injuries were reported to police.

Lacey Zartman, 28, was driving the car, and wasn't hurt, either, though her car had to be towed from the scene, according to police. It's not clear if she's going to be cited — Southwestern Regional Police Chief Greg Bean said the investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
