A Hanover woman died from injuries she suffered in a Penn Township crash Thursday morning, according to Penn Township Police.

Bobbi Jo Wagaman, 45, of the first block of West Granger Street, died when the pickup truck she was riding in struck another car near the intersection of Hershey Heights Road and Broadway just north of Hanover around 8:45 a.m., police said in a news release.

Wagaman was taken to Hanover General Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt-force trauma, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Authorities say she was riding in the passenger seat of a pickup truck that was heading north when the driver crossed over the yellow line and hit a car headed in the other direction.

Both drivers also were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and later released, according to the release.

Shortly after the crash was called in, first responders said several people were hurt, and one was unresponsive, according to emergency transmissions from the scene.

Penn Township Police continue to investigate; anyone with information is encouraged to call 637-8751.
