1 a.m. update: The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for York County and the surrounding areas until 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

Heavy rains have flooded many areas of the region but should end soon, the NWS said.

10 p.m. update: The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for York County and the surrounding counties until 12:45 a.m. Thursday.

By 10 p.m., the York Airport reported more than 2.5 inches of rain had fallen since Wednesday afternoon.

Previous: Numerous roads around York County are being affected by this evening's downpour, according to York County 911.

Roads from Newberry Township to Heidelberg Township are being blocked off, and several water rescues are going on.
