An 85-year-old Gettysburg man died Tuesday from injuries he suffered in an Adams County plane crash last month, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Walter M. Trostle, of Barlow Two Taverns Road, died of blunt-force head trauma, the coroner's office said.

His death has been ruled accidental and no autopsy is planned, according to the coroner's office.

Trostle was piloting the small plane when it crashed in the 500 block of Blackhorse Tavern Road in Cumberland Township about 10:45 a.m. Sept. 19, according to the coroner's office.

A passenger survived the crash, the coroner's office said.

Cumberland Township Police are investigating, according to the coroner's office.

No one answered at the police department at noon Wednesday.
