A man was victim of an attempted robbery Sunday morning, according to Northern York County Regional Police.

The man was walking north on Albright Avenue in North York at around 11:15 a.m. when he was approached by two males with handguns, according to police.

The two men told the victim to empty his pockets, to which he replied "no" and shoved one of them, according to police.

The men told him he was lucky it wasn't nighttime and fled southbound on Albright, police said.

Both males were described as wearing hooded sweatshirts with the hoods pulled tightly around their faces. One was described as a young teenager and the other as being approximately 18 years old, according to police.
