Police seek man who robbed Shrewsbury Dollar Store at gunpoint

Southern Regional Police seek the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Dollar Store in Shrewsbury at gunpoint Friday night.

Police say a dark-bearded white man with in his 30s walked into the Dollar General at 541 S. Main St. in the borough at about 7:30 p.m., and robbed the store using a black handgun.

He was about 5-feet-8 or 5-feet-9, 160 to 170 pounds, wearing black gloves, white sneakers, gray hooded American Eagle Sweatshirt with "87" on the front and blue pants, according to police.

Police say he took money and fled north in the direction of the Goodwill store.
