Students from York College's Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter will be collecting donations from drivers stopped for the traffic light at the corner of East Springettsbury and South George streets in York City for the students' upcoming projects.

Donations, which will help fund the chapter's Collegiate Challenge work project, will be collected on Friday and again on Friday, Oct. 30.

At the end of February, the chapter plans to travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they will participate in the Habitat for Humanity Collegiate Challenge.

During the challenge, students from across the country will give up their winter and spring breaks to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, an organization dedicated to building and providing housing for those in need.
