Free flu shots offered next month around York County
Free flu shots will be available starting in November at walk-in clinics around York County, according to the York Adams Immunization Coalition.
The coalition and WellSpan are sponsoring the clinics, which are open to people age 18 and older who don't have health insurance, according to a news release. Those with HealthyCare cards also are welcome at the clinic.
Those with Medicare coverage are not eligible for the free flu shots, according to the release.
The clinics are scheduled for:
•Saturday, Nov. 7, from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 25 N. Adams St. in West York
•Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church, 74 E. Forrest Ave. in Shrewsbury
•Sunday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 309 S. George St. in York City
•Saturday, Nov. 14, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Union Lutheran Church, 405 W. Market St. in York City
•Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Martin Library at 159 E. Market St. in York City
•Sunday, Nov. 15, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St. in York City
•Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St. in York City
•Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Otterbein Methodist Church, 301 W. Philadelphia St. in York City
•Saturday, Nov. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Collinsville Library, 2632 Delta Road outside Brogue
•Thursday, Dec. 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Elks Lodge, 223 N. George St. in York City.
