Three Maryland men arrested less than two minutes after allegedly robbing a York Township bank last month will stand trial in the York County Court of Common Pleas.

Magisterial District Judge Scott Laird forwarded robbery and related charges laid against Dennis Chemil Harris, 50, and Stanley Alexander Riddic, 30, both of Columbia, Maryland, to the county courts following a preliminary hearing on Monday.

The third man, Derek Joseph Lozzi, 50, of Baltimore, is facing the same charges and waived his preliminary hearing.

The trio allegedly robbed the Northwest Savings Bank, 2220 S. Queen St., just before 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 15, police said.

One of the men brandished a pistol before leaving with an undisclosed amount, police said.

By the time the call to police from the 911 dispatchers ended, an officer had found the vehicle the three men were allegedly getting away in and arrested them, police said.

All told, one minute and 58 seconds elapsed between the time dispatchers relayed information to police and when officers arrested the suspected perpetrators.

Harris, Riddic and Lozzi remain in York County Prison in lieu of bail.
