Police: Woman, intoxicated, bit boyfriend while camping
A Rohrerstown woman bit her live-in boyfriend while intoxicated during a fight at Gifford Pinchot State Park in Warrington Township, Saturday afternoon, police said.
Marie Lynn Myers, 49,of 2241 Marietta Ave, Rohrerstown, is charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, according to charging documents.
Myers, intoxicated, began fighting her boyfriend John Carruthers, 63, and bit him in the neck area while camping at the park, according to police.
She drew blood and left a large red blister-like mark and a swollen lump on Carruthers, police said.
Witnesses said that Myers was the instigator due to her intoxication, according to police.
When police arrived Myers was not aware of how Carruthers got hurt and said he must have done it himself, police said.
Myers was released on $1,000 bail, according to police.
