YMCA of York to host black tie gala

The YMCA of York and York County will host its third annual Livestrong at the YMCA Black Tie Gala, 6:30-11 p.m. Friday at Wyndham Gardens.

The event will feature cocktails, live music, a dinner, silent and live auctions and a cash bar.

Also, Vince Papale, a former pro football player and the man who inspired the movie "Invincible," will be the keynote speaker. A private meet-and-greet will be held from 5-6 p.m. for $40 per person.

Tickets to the gala are $75.
