A West Manchester Township convenience store was robbed Sunday night, according to police.

The Rutter's Farm Store at 2115 Bannister St. was robbed around 11:15 p.m., according to a news release from police.

The robber demanded all the money from the register and kept his hand in his waist band, implying he had a weapon, though he did not display one, police said.

The employee behind the register gave the money to the robber, who then fled the area on foot, heading west from the store, according to police.

The robber is described as a skinny white male with a blonde ponytail who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and ski mask during the robbery, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Manchester Township Police at (717) 792-9514.
