A crash on Route 30 is causing heavy traffic on the road's westbound lanes in the Hallam area, according to the state Department of Transportation's website.

A bad crash was reported as involving someone thrown from the vehicle at about 3:40 p.m. Saturday near Accomac Road in Hellam Township, according to York County 911.

Emergency personnel are on scene, according to emergency dispatches.

The westbound lanes of the highway are seeing a traffic jam with only stop-and-go movement back almost to the Wrightsville area, according to PennDOT.
