York City health clinic offering free flu shots
Uninsured York City residents will have a chance to receive free flu shots from the York City Bureau of Health.
The organization will be hosting a free clinic 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 at the bureau, 435 W. Philadelphia St., according to a news release.
Influenza is more prevalent in the winter months and is highly unpredictable from year to year in terms of the number of cases that occur, the news release stated.
Doctors recommend residents six months or older get a flu shot.
