'Project Lifesaver' to help find lost loved ones with special needs

Mental Illness Awareness Walk set for Saturday


The York County National Alliance on Mental Illness will host its sixth annual Mental Illness Awareness Walk, Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park, 940 Vander Ave.

The rain-or-shine event, held during Mental Illness Awareness Week, will open with registration at 8:30 a.m., followed by the walk at 10 a.m.

The walk is open to teams and singles, and onlookers are also welcome.

There will be free food, and prizes will be awarded.
