Lancaster dad pleads guilty to possessing child pornography
LANCASTER — A southeastern Pennsylvania man whose son is in prison for possessing child pornography has pleaded guilty to similar charges.
Karl Neuenschwander was sentenced Monday to six months of house-arrest, followed by 6 ½ years of probation, in Lancaster County Court. He pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of child pornography.
The 45-year-old Lancaster man's son, 20-year-old Jack Neuenschwander, is currently serving six-to-23 months in prison.
Jack Neuenschwander was sentenced in May to five years of probation on felony counts of keeping and distributing child pornography, but was taken to prison in June after authorities say he violated the judge's order by viewing pornography.
Police charged both men in August 2014. Police said the pair possessed numerous child pornography images and videos.
