York-area events rescheduled, cancelled or changed because of storm
York County might be spared the brunt of Hurricane Joaquin, but there's still plenty of rain in store for the area this weekend. Here's the list so far of events that have been cancelled, moved or rescheduled because of the weather. If your community event as changed, please tweet us @YorkDispatch or message our Facebook page.

The Keep York Beautiful Fall Cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. will be rescheduled.
The Walk a Mile in Her Shoes domestic awareness event was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2 has been rescheduled to Nov. 6.
The York County Heritage Trust Tavern Tasting event scheduled for Oct. 2 at the Golden Plough Tavern has been cancelled. Check the York County Heritage Trust website for new dates.
The Shredding with Schreiber event scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, has been rescheduled to Nov. 7. Call (717) 848-9595 with any questions.
The Farm to City Street Dinner at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, will be held inside Central Market if it rains.
The annual Cider Fest at Wallace-Cross Mill, scheduled for Sunday Oct. 4, has been cancelled. The mill will still be open for tours, 1:30-4:40 p.m. Sunday, with apple cider available for sale.
