Police search for man accused of shooting parked truck near Seven Valleys
Southwestern Regional Police are asking for the public's help in locating a drifter accused of repeatedly shooting a pickup truck parked along Seven Valleys Road in North Codorus Township.
Seth Anthony Moffitt, 32, of no fixed address, is facing charges of reckless endangerment and criminal mischief for the Sept. 25 incident, according to police.
Police said he fired nine bullets into the unoccupied truck about 11:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of Seven Valleys Road (Route 616).
It's believed Moffitt shot up the pickup because he had been involved in a dispute with the truck's owner.
No one was hurt, according to police.
Neighbors in the area heard numerous gunshots and spotted a vehicle speed away from the scene, police said.
Moffitt's whereabouts are unknown, according to police.
Anyone with information about where Moffitt can be found is asked to call police at (717) 225-1333, ext. 100, or call 911.
