York Catholic High School has invited the public to a fun-filled homecoming weekend celebration Friday through Sunday.

On Friday, school tours will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (appointments only); a pep rally will begin at 2 p.m.; and the football game versus Delone Catholic will begin at 7 p.m. (marching band alumni should bring instruments and sit with the band).

On Saturday, the boys' varsity soccer team will host Delone Catholic at 8:30 a.m. followed by the JV game at 10 a.m. Guests can also join the school's art teacher to paint a canvas at 10 a.m. or enter a team in the 3-on-3 Alumni Basketball Tournament.

A family picnic, with food for sale, begins at 11 a.m., and past and present teachers will attend a social at Bogey Macaws at Springwood Golf Course from 5 to 7 p.m.

The weekend closes Sunday with special recognition of the school's Mystical Rose Society during Mass, 10 a.m. in the auditorium. The guest celebrant will be Father Keith Carroll from the Class of 2000.

A coffee and pastries reception will be held 11-11:30 a.m.
