Northern York County Regional Police are seeking tips to help them solve two burglaries that happened this week in North York and Franklin Township.

Someone broke into a home in the 800 block of Latimer Street in North York between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 1:30 a.m. Monday and stole a 39-inch Sanyo television and a 14-inch Dell laptop computer, according to police.

And in Franklin Township, someone broke into a home in the 100 block of Tuckahoe Road overnight Monday or Tuesday morning and stole an 18-inch Stihl chain saw, police said.

Lt. David Lash said the burglaries aren't connected.

Anyone with information on either crime is asked to call Northern Regional Police at (717) 292-3647, or leave a tip online at nycrpd.org.
