The Salvation Army of York will host its 10th annual Civic Dinner, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pavilion of the Heritage Hills Resort, 2700 Mount Rose Ave.

The event supports the organization's youth programming offered through the Learning Center, an after-school program that offers homework assistance.

The speaker will be Commander Lt. Colonel Stephen Banfield, of the Eastern PA/Delaware division.

Outstanding Service awards will be given to Bob Woods, United Way of York executive director, and George Lenkner, who retired in 2015 as the business manager of the York Salvation Army.
