State DEP to hold Clean Power Plan meeting in York
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will hold more than a dozen listening sessions, including one in York County, across the state to receive public input on the federal Clean Power Plan.
The plan aims to cut carbon pollution and, as part of the input sessions, the DEP will hold a two-month comment period through Thursday, Nov. 12, according to a news release from DEP.
The local session will be held at Wyndham Garden hotel, 2000 Loucks Road, on Monday, Oct. 5 from 2 to 5 p.m., the release says. Comments can also be submitted at www.ahs.dep.pa.gov/eComment/, emailed to email@example.com or mailed to 400 Market Street P.O. Box 2063 Harrisburg, PA 17105.
Participants wishing to speak at a session must register at (717)787-8727.
