Repair work to resume on I-83 York exits Sept. 15-17
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will continue work on northbound Interstate 83 between the Exit 19 off ramp and northbound on ramp from North Hills Road, according to a department press release.
Crews will resume work Sept. 15, and PennDOT advises motorists that traffic in the vicinity of the repair work on I-83 North will be restricted to the right lane between 9 a.m. and noon.
On. Sept. 16-17, crews will move repair operations to the southbound lanes of I-83 between Exit 32 and Exit 28, while also working between Exit 16 and Exit 14. Traffic within the vicinity of the repair work will be restricted to the right lane between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Travelers should allow for additional time or seek an alternate route during these hours.
