Northeastern High School to host community yard sale and festival

Northeastern High School students will host a community yard sale with carnival games and food trucks, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in the middle school and high school parking lots, 300 High St., Manchester.

Yard sale spaces are still available. The cost is $10 in advance or $15 the day of the event.

The proceeds will benefit a student educational tour to France and Spain in June.

The Northeastern Student Senate will conduct a Touch-A-Truck event for children from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Kids will be able to explore a variety of vehicles, including a helicopter, farm equipment, police cars and much more; talk to their drivers; and take pictures.

Admission is $5 per child and free for adults.

Proceeds will benefit the mini-THON and the Four Diamonds fund.
