Police: Codorus Township man charged with sexual abuse of a minor


A Codorus Township man has been charged with sexually assaulting a child over the course of two years.

Robert Samuel Wilson Jr., 42, was charged Tuesday with unlawful contact with a minor, which is a class-three felony, as well corruption of a minor and multiple counts of indecent assault, according to a news release from state police.

State police say he assaulted the child between Aug. 22, 2011, and Aug. 21, 2013.

Wilson remains in York County Prison on $800,000 bail, according to online court records.

He has previously faced charges of burglary, corruption of minors, open lewdness, possession of drugs with the intent to deliver and other alleged crimes, according to court records.
