Gov. Wolf to host Red Land watch party in Harrisburg

The Governor's Residence will play host to a watch party for Red Land Little League's championship game on Saturday.

The York County-based team will take on Pearland, Texas, for the U.S. World Series championship in South Williamsport. First pitch is at 3:30 p.m.

The free public watch party will run from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Governor's Residence, 2035 N. Front St., according to a news release from the governor's office.

Parking is allowed along Second Street, including the permit parking-only section directly in front of the Governor's Residence, and in the private lot at the corner of Second and Maclay streets, the release says.

Guests should enter the property through the Second Street gates. No large bags or totes are permitted and security measures will be in place, the release said.
