Canoe stolen from Boy Scouts in Red Lion

York Dispatch

The Boy Scouts of America are typically known to "be prepared," as their motto states, but Troop 35 couldn't foresee its canoe being stolen.

An unknown criminal took the troop's 14-foot Mad River canoe from St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion some time between Aug. 4 and Aug. 25, state police report.

The canoe is dark green, and anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the police at (717) 428-1011.
