Make-A-Wish recipient gets surprise from York Dispatch reader
Caleb Cook loves mustangs.
Thanks to the Make-A-Wish foundation, a national organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening health issues, Caleb was able to go somewhere special.
This summer, he spent his vacation attending Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach.
The York Dispatch wrote about his trip earlier this summer.
When a reader saw the story, he decided to contact Caleb Cook with a gift -- custom made Mustangs.
Two weeks ago, Caleb and his mother, Elizabeth, met up with George Hohenshilt of Shiloh to make the exchange.
"I read about his story and thought he could use these cars more than me," he said. "I'm glad we could make the exchange."
Caleb Cook's brother Carson Cook also received a gift, which included a set of dinosaur books.
